Aug 07: Well done to Lottie Howard-Merrill who raced as part of the Great Britain Junior Woman’s 4- at the recent World Junior Championships held in Beijing. In a very competitive field, her crew came 6th overall.

 

July 07: Well done to Maud Van Den Broecke and Claire Innes who raced in the Junior Woman’s 2- as part of the England team at the Home Countries Regatta. At the event they won gold over Scotland.

 

Congratulations to: Lottie Howard-Merrill and Emma Brown who has been chosen as the Captian and vice captain respectively for the 2007-2008 season.  

 

 

 

Some fantastic news: In arguably the toughest of the Senior World Championship years (where crews seek qualification for the Olympic Games) two old girls have competed and medalled at the event:

 

Aug 07: Katie Greaves has just attended the World Championships in Munich where she won Bronze in the Woman’s Eight thereby qualifying a place for a GB Woman’s 8+ at the Olympics. They beat Australia by 2/100th of a second to the bronze medal.

 

Aug 07: Congratulations to Laura Greenhalgh who won silver at the World Championships in Munich in the Woman’s Lightweight Quad.

 

At the U23 World Championships one Headington Old Girl was competing:

 

Aug 07: Congratulations to Rachael Jefferies who won Bronze in the Woman’s 4- at the U23 World Championships. At the recent youth Olympics, Rachael won gold in the Woman’s 4x and Woman’s 8+.
