Notices: J13s

Dear Parents,

Due to the lack of water time for the J13 rowers since the start of half-term I have taken the decision to withdraw the J13s from racing at Gloucester Head on 6th March. Training for that weekend will as normal with water sessions on Saturday 5th and no rowing on Sunday 6th March.

Dear Parents,

Unfortunately the river is still fast and the wier stream at Godstow is quite hazardous. Training for the Novice, J13 and J14 squads will be at the school gym on Monday 22nd February 2016. Hopefully the water conditions will become safe for normal training soon. I will keep you all updated on the river conditions and training locations this week on this page.

Dear Parents,

Unfortunately the river at Godstow, while dropping in level, is still very fast indeed and I do not deem it safe for the J13s to row on the water this weekend. Therefore J13 training this saturday will run at the school gym. Please bring your daughters to your normal time slots between 8am and 12pm.

Dear Parents,

Updated 14/02/2016 - The river is still extremely fast so the final day of the Novice and J13 mini-camp (Monday 15th Feb 2016) will be at the school gym. I will update the boat club website about training next weekend (20th & 21st Feb) during the week.

Many thanks.

Chris Hermes

Dear Parents,

J13 February mini-camps:

The J13 mini-camps will run from Saturday 13th to Monday 15th February 2016 at Godstow. The sessions will run in the same way as the normal Saturday sessions; that is two session per day:

Session 1: 8am to 10am

Session 2: 10am to 12pm

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Dear Parents,

As per the boat club calendar we are planning to attend the following events this term:

Hampton Head (J14 to Seniors) on 6th February 2016

Henley 4s & 8s Head (J14 to J15) on 13th February 2016.

Reading University Head (J15 - Seniors) on 27th February 2016

Women's Head of the River (J16 - Seniors) on 5th March 2016

Dear Parents,

As previously communicated there are practice sessions being held on the next three fridays (20th, 27th, 4th) for the squad performance at the HSOBC music evening with the sessions running from 4pm to 6pm. The girls are to meet their coach downstairs at the Dance and Fitness center before proceeding together to some classrooms in the main school building.

Dear Parents,

On the 7th December the boat club is holding it's annual Music Evening where traditionally each year group performs a song or a dance. It would be great to continue this with the Novice and J13s performing at this years event.

Dear Parents,

We would like to invite you to the annual Boat Club Music Evening which is taking place on Monday 7th December from 6.30pm in the main school hall.

All the rowers will have supper provided at school and then join their parents for the concert.
