GB February Trials 2025

GB February Trials hosted in Boston Lincolnshire, saw four Headinton girls compete. Over the course of 2 days, they raced 3 time trials of 2.8 kilometers each with different pairs partners. On Saturday, the first run was in Headington pairs: Sophie Haisman with Elayna Yap, and Lucy Pillar with Selam Tewelde. Based on these results, the pairs were sectioned off into groups of 3 for a pairs matrix.

Overall, a great weekend of racing despite some wind, rain, and hail (as expected in Boston!) It was an excellent opportunity for the girls to demonstrate their abilities in small boats, and have the experience of rowing with people from different clubs. 

The next step in the trials process is Spring Assessments which will be held in Nottingham this April.
