On Saturday HSOBC fielded a strong squad ranging from J14 to J18 at Wallingford Long Distance Sculls. This course is known to be challenging, featuring sharp bends and tough competition, but all crews rose to the occasion, which was evident in the stellar results across the board. This was a great way for the J14-15 girls to start off the season, and for the rest of the squad to race again and gain more experience after a successful vesta scullers head only the week before.

Division 1 hosted our J18 singles and Division 2 the J17/18 quads who raced in the women's categories. They raced against impressive competition including Olympic, world and U23 champions, which presented an incredible opportunity for the girls to compete against athletes at the very top of the field.

W 1x A: 4th (Top WJ18 ranked sculler), 7th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th

W J17 1x: 1st🥇, 2nd🥈, 5th, 9th, 11th, 16th, 19th

W 1x B: 11th

W J14 4x+: 1st🥇, 2nd🥈, 3rd, 4th, 5th

W J15 2x: 1st🥇

W 4x: 3rd🥉 (Top WJ18 Quad), 4th, 5th

W J18 2x: 4th, 7th

W J16 1x: 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 16th, 17th, 18th
