The first round of in person GB trials for athletes hoping to be selected for junior world championships and Coupe were held over the May half term. Given COVID-19, trials have not been able to be held up to this point so it was a first for those in such a pressured environment. We are pleased to report that, if anything, the rowers made excellent prgress through the event.
Issy and Mia trialled for sweep and after a pairs matrix both came 4th for their respective sides. Meanwhile, Jessie and Claudia trialled in sculling and after a time trial and doubles matrix, they were ranked 8th and 9th

Unfortunatley, do to decisions made by the Government, it was announced a week after the trials that they would not be sending a team to the Junior World Rowing Championships.
